It is the mission of The Center for Political Development to transform political culture by catalyzing the political development of individuals, organizations, and communities. It is through our political development that we activate the leadership capacities needed by our time, which enables us to transform our organizations into learning organizations and our communities into increasingly vital democracies.

The activation of a wide range of leadership capacities supports the political development of activists, organizers, educators, volunteers, and others involved in social change, enabling them to intervene within their organizations or publically in their communities, to assert not only their political agendas but also to change how politics is done. By extending their own political development organizations and community leaders transform political culture.
